Building Owners and Managers Association took to Capitol Hill
Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) took to Capitol Hill on February 1, 2012 to speak with lawmakers. Dom Diaz accompanied the BOMA New York Chapter in meeting with legislators asking for their support in various areas of commercial real estate:
- Energy efficiency and green building improvements
- Roof tax incentives that promote new roof systems in existing buildings
- Regulatory issues concerning lead paint and storm water management
- Building security and emergency preparedness
The visit to Capitol Hill was successful as the BOMA New York Chapter visited with many government representatives to discuss the issues plaguing building owners and managers in New York’s growing real estate.
